I rewrote this last year from a song I wasn’t very happy with. It’s based on Phil 4:8, and it affirms that everything good is summed up in Jesus Christ. Scott Hill is the vocalist. It’s due out on our new CD entitled “Immersed” December 2008.

I wrote this at the prompting of my pastor as we were seeking to unite the church in the service of God to all nations. The church really took hold of it quickly. Praise God!

The music for this came to me pretty much "as is" while I was playing during communion in our church service. I wrote several sets of lyrics, none of which really fit the majesty of the song. A few months later, I got food poisoning from some bad egg foo yung at a Chinese buffet. I couldn’t eat for a week. Being too weak to do much of anything, I was lying in bed, considering the scene in heaven described in Revelation 4 & 5. Suddenly everything seemed to flow into the song, as I meditated on the glorious vision of all creation bowing before the throne of Heaven.
