Song of the Week - How He Loves - John Mark McMillan
by Michael Mahoney on Thu, 09/03/2009 - 12:57pmEvery once in a while, you come across a song that has been hanging around the periphery of your awareness, that suddenly comes into sharp focus. It’s kind of like "Oh, I’ve heard that song before." but all of a sudden you hear it for the first time.
Hi all
i am new to this site, i thought i would see what happens. i am new to song writing. i have a cd i recorded at an independent studio, i lead worship at my church and my songs have been well received.
let me know what you think.
If you have ever read the story of David and Jonathan in the book of 1 Samuel, you may find yourself amazed at the incredible bond and devotion these two biblical heros had for each other.
I originally called this article: “Needless Arguments Over a Multifaceted God.” That sounded too fancy-shmancy, hence the current title.
2 Corinthians 13:14 : May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Here is this week’s discussion question:
What is your greatest challenge as a worship leader?
It’s in our challenges that God is able to develop perserverance and make us more like him. Feel free to share and encourage with one another on this spiritual journey as we worship the Father together.

by Fred McKinnon on Mon, 07/27/2009 - 5:31pmHey Everyone!
Yesterday (Sunday, July 26) marked the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY for the "Sunday Setlists" blog carnival that I host at FredMcKinnon.Com. This is where I share a recap of our worship service, and encourage worshipers all over the world to do the same thing on their blogs, facebook pages, on TheWorshipCommunity.Com, etc.
To celebrate the ONE YEAR anniversary, I’m doing tons of giveaways - Songbooks, CDs, DVDs, books, Loops, and lots of swag.
Take part in this week’s discussion blog. Remember that each discussion blog will pose questions about topics facing worship leaders today and give you the opportunity to voice your opinion. Just leave comments stating your thoughts on this week’s question.
This week’s topic: How do you choose the right songs for your worship sets?
