I wrote this song back in 1996. It was written at a time when I realized that I was powerless to change myself, and was utterly dependent on God’s grace for the power to change and please him.
In the verses the song asks questions that seem to leave us without hope, but the chorus unashamedly cries that it’s only because of Jesus we experience freedom.
