"Fix My Eyes" is a song that I wrote only a couple of days before I was scheduled to do a live worship recording. It expresses my desire to be full of God’s Holy Spirit so that we can be effective in fulfilling the Great Commission.
I believe that Scripture teaches us, as New Testament Christians, that God’s power should be at work through us. That by His Spirit, we can be used to proclaim good news to the poor, heal the sick, bring salvation to the lost - and yes, even raise the dead! (well, that requires a certain level of faith and of course, God’s will in the matter of things!).
This song is a heart cry for God to "fill us" so that we are in the position to be used by Him to walk in His power, signs, and wonders.
