About Me
The year…1995. A young fifteen year old boy finds himself buried under pages and pages of words that keep pouring out of his pen as he sits alone in his room. Visions and dreams of events yet to happen captivate his mind. A calling had been placed on his life. Saving his money, he picks up an old Ovation twelve string guitar and learns to bang out simple off beat chords.
Years have passed and the young fifteen year old boy is now a little older and a little better at playing guitar… at least I like to think so. My name is Bobby and I am currently a worship leader at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Dayon, Ohio. I first started leading worship in my youth group in El Paso, Texas when I was around 16. I knew from the first moment I starting leading worship that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. Since then I have been a main service worship leader at several churches….all of which I have loved and learned so much. God recently opened a door for my wife and I to move up to Ohio and help minister in a church here. I am constantly reminded of how amazing God is and how faithful He is. I sometimes ponder back to when I was 15 years old, sitting alone in my room with all my lyrics, when I first felt the call on my life to use the gifts He has given me to minister to those around me and I can’t help but be reminded about the verse in Jeremiah - For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -
