Holy, Holy is the Lamb

This is a unique song for me as a writer. It’s basically a newly written hymn like "In Christ Alone," but I added a chorus. It speaks of Christ’s atoning sacrifice, that He is the Lamb of God, and that we should give Him our worship.

How great the price of our transgressions

Our sacrifice could not repay

You took our sin and bled salvation

Holy, holy Lamb of grace

Piercing nails ring out our freedom

For even death could not withstand

The Son of Heaven, robed in mercy

Your life poured out upon the altar

Our Lamb would rise triumphantly

Ascended to the throne of honor

Clothed in grace and majesty

An angel chorus gathers round You

Their voices echo cross the land

"All praise and honor, glory, power

Light breaks in through prison doorways

The captives free, the vict’ry won

Darkness flees the dawn’s salvation

Our hands will move at Your command

Chains are breaking, souls exclaiming
